1. Molybdenum Rod Used As A Heating Element For Vacuum Parts:
The features of molybdenum rod include a high melting point, strong thermal conductivity, and minimal thermal expansion. It has a high strength and can withstand oxidation at high temperatures. Electric vacuum devices, electric light source components, high temperature heating elements, high temperature structural components, electrodes, and other products can all be made using molybdenum rods.
2. Classification of Molybdenum Rod Be Used For Vacuum Parts Heating Element:
Classification by material:
①Pure molybdenum rod: the molybdenum content is greater than 99.95%.
②Forged molybdenum rod: The surface is black and covered in an oxide coating.
③TZM molybdenum rod: 0.4~0.6Ti, 0.07~0.12Zr, 0.01~0.05C.
Classification by Surface State:
① Sintered molybdenum rod: the surface is silver-gray metallic luster.

1). Molybdenum rod have the characteristics of easy oxidation. Use strong acid to treat heavy oxides to eliminate them (fluoric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, etc.).Please be careful during operation.
2). Use a cleaning solution with abrasives added to remove mild oxides, then wipe with a soft cloth or sponge before washing with warm water.

③Used as high temperature heating element and high temperature structural parts.
